I am a Senior UX Designer & Researcher at imec (world's leading microchips R&D hub) where I design interfaces for data-heavy applications and research human-AI interaction.
My UX design journey began with a Master’s in Industrial Design Engineering (Summa Cum Laude), where I developed a rigorous foundation in product development. I pivoted into UX to combine this engineering mindset with a human-centered approach, earning a Professional Diploma in UX Design from the UX Design Institute.
For the past four years, I have led UX research and design for big organisations, including the national broadcaster VRT, Randstad, and the Flemish Government. My work has focused on optimizing the user experience and design patterns of Personal Data Stores, which also served as the central focus of my PhD thesis.
I thrive in international environments, a passion sparked during my Erasmus exchange at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. This passion has grown through experiences such as presenting at premier Human-Computer Interaction conferences like CHI 2025 in Yokohama and HCII 2024 in Washington, DC, and co-organizing a two-week design sprint in Jakarta, Indonesia, with Marriott Hotels, where we developed innovative solutions to reduce food waste.
Looking forward, I am eager to leverage my expertise in UX Design and Research to build the next generation of digital solutions.
